Hiren Patel is a Co-Founder and Principal Interior Designer at Saar Interior Design. He has always been passionate about visual arts and storytelling.
For over a decade, Hiren has fostered the development of Saar Interior design through a principle of creating meaningful environments that intermingle his many creative endeavors: interior design, photography, music, graphics design and filmmaking. His interiors incorporate authentic, locally made furniture pieces with modern décor in a warm palette capturing a sense of earthy charisma and timelessness.
Since the inception of Saar Interior Design, Hiren has built on his creative passion by designing impressive spaces that reflect his strong sense of visual language. He firmly believes in what Charles Eames said –
Design is a plan for arranging elements in such a way as best to accomplish a particular purpose.
Thus, his spaces are free of forceful clutter and are smartly customized every time to deliver a uniquely personal experience for every client. Hiren has Visual design experience of almost 20 years and has been a Guest Faculty mentoring subjects like Material Explorations, Digital Design and communication, Layout in Publication Design & Advanced Design Drafting, Moving Images & Editing and a frequent jury member at National Institute of Fashion Technology (Ministry of Textiles – India), Gandhinagar.
Dhara Tank
Dhara Tank is a Co-Founder and Interior Designer at Saar Interior Design. Her strong liking for local arts and crafts and green design practices are some of her key strengths.
A design graduate from NIFT, Gandhinagar, Dhara has varied experiences in design, craft and design education since 2005. Understanding client’s needs and converting them into design solutions comes naturally to her. She always strives to design spaces with context and keeps it rooted to our culture yet delivers contemporary and innovative results.
Her creative strengths are play of surfaces, colours and proportions. When not at work, she loves to paint, travel, meet people and spend time with family.
Dhara has been keenly involved with design education & training since almost 18 years. She has been a Guest Faculty mentoring subjects like Visualisation and Representation, Material Exploration, Fashion Basics, Elements of Design, Design collection mentorship, and a frequent jury member at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (Ministry of Textiles – India), Gandhinagar.
